In 2007, Empire consolidated its 37 schools with 51 cosmetology schools run by Regis Corporation in order to form a the entity known as Empire Education Group. Since then, the company has expanded even further, with campus locations in many states. The schools provide hands-on training in cosmetology, makeup artistry and esthetics. Graduates are awarded with a Certified Learning in Cosmetology (CLIC) certificate.
Empire Beauty Schools are accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts and Sciences.
Empire Beauty School instructors are seasoned educators who impart their practical knowledge to the students that they teach. Instructors are all Certified Learning in Cosmetology (CLIC) Educators. Faculty members provide students with hands-on instruction, using mannequins, textbooks and special tools that all work together. Digital teaching aids, such as Whiteboard and digital textbooks, are used at each location. Since the school educates more than 15,000 students annually, faculty members have the ability to tap in to a large network of industry professionals to keep current on industry trends and training techniques.
Every Empire Beauty School is fully equipped with a salon where students will hone their skills on real-life clients. Facilities include salon-standard equipment and use professional products. Individual Professional Student Kits give students access to high-end professional tools including shears, texture shears, blow-dryers, clippers, brushes, irons, and state-of-the-art mannequins. Empire provides students with licensing assistance in their state of residence. Financial aid is available to those who qualify. Enrolled students are required to commute since no student housing is available.
