Founded over 30 years ago with the objective of providing beauty education, the European Academy of Cosmetology today offers high-quality cosmetology training for its students. Located in Union, New Jersey, European is now part of the highly-successful Empire Education Group and its 70-year tradition of excellence in cosmetology education. All of its programs offer formal training in salon management and reception, communication skills, sales techniques, and more.

Areas of Study

European Academy offers diploma programs in Cosmetology and in Teacher of Cosmetology. The programs can lead to exciting careers as stylists, makeup artists, color technicians, salon owners, or salon managers. Included in the programs are skills such as cutting and styling techniques, color and texture services, hair cleansing, makeup and nail technology, basic skin care, business development, and retail training.

Admissions

Applying to European Academy is a simple procedure. An online form should be completed first, after which an admission representative will be in touch to answer questions and assist in completing the enrollment process.

Faculty

Instructors are licensed and trained in all aspects of cosmetology. Faculty members undergo vigorous technical and classroom management training and certification before teaching in the Academy's classrooms.

Students at European Academy tend to be creative individuals who are comfortable in a salon environment and have a strong desire to become a career professional in the field of cosmetology.

Student Life

The campus is located in Union, New Jersey, about one mile from Kean University and off of Route 22 and the Garden State Parkway. Students are equipped with an exclusive Professional Student Kit consisting of high-end professional tools of the trade such as shears, texture shears, clippers, blow-dryer, irons, brushes, and mannequins.
