Overview of Everest University
Everest University is a school of higher learning located at ten campus sites throughout the state of Florida. Formerly known as Florida Metropolitan University (FMU), Everest offers Associate, Bachelor, and Master degree programs in business, accounting, paralegal, criminal justice, and health care. Everest also offers diploma programs in the health care field. The University is owned by Corinthian Colleges International, Inc., which also owns and operates Everest College, Everest Institute, and Everest Online. These schools have campuses located throughout the U.S.

Everest University Admissions
Application for admission to Everest University consists of completing an application and an enrollment agreement. Prospective students wishing to transfer credits from an accredited school should forward an official transcript to Everest. The process can be started by completing an easy online form.

Enrollment varies by campus. Student populations range from about 750 at some campus locations to nearly 2,000 at others.

Although Everest is a commuter school, most campuses are conveniently located near public transportation routes. There are many levels of student resources, including tutoring, an information resource library, and student activities such as team building and leadership development exercises.
