Points of Distinction
Areas of Study
First Institute offers programs of study leading to certification in three areas: Medical Assistant, Medical Office Specialist, and Massage Therapy. Medical Assistant graduates obtain the skills necessary to aid physicians and other medical personnel as they examine and treat patients as well as perform administrative duties. The Medical Office Specialist Program will teach students the required skills needed to work in a medical office setting. The Massage Therapy program addresses the increasing demand for massage therapists as well as the renewed interest in health and well being that is manifesting itself throughout the country.
First Institute Admissions
The admissions process can be initiated very simply. An online request form, found on the Institute's website, will ask for the applicant's contact information and the topic(s) of interest to the applicant. An admissions representative will follow up to complete the enrollment steps.
First Institute Faculty Quality
First Institute's faculty integrates theory and practice, thereby providing students with the opportunity to fully understand what takes place in the workplace of their chosen fields. Instructors are grounded in the educational theory that the closer the relationship between the real and the theoretical, the greater the learning experience.
