There are several different program options available at the Florida Culinary Institute. The programs at the Florida Culinary Institute all incorporate the school's hands-on approach to teaching its students the culinary arts. All students are given the opportunity to learn-by-training, a part of the curriculums at the school where students are able to learn the skills they will need for the work place before graduating by working with and around the equipment they will be in the job place, giving them the edge after graduation. Some of the programs offered include Culinary, Culinary Management, International Baking and Pastry, and Food and Beverage Management.
Florida Culinary Institute Selectivity
The admission's process at Florida Culinary Institute is simple, and the school recommends that any prospective student contact one of the many Career Advisors that are available through the campuses's admissions office. The Career Advisor can walk the applicant through the rest of the admissions and registration process and answer any question that may come up along the way. The applicant should also schedule a personal interview with the advisor, to discuss the goals they have and get help figuring out their career path. A high school or equivalent diploma is required before applying to the school to attend classes.

The faculty at Florida Culinary Institute are all professionals who have worked in the culinary, or another food preparation and presentation, industry. The faculty are all draw on years of experience working in the same situations that students will be after graduation, letting them prepare students for the nuances of the work place as well as give them the skills they will need to stand out in the job market. All of the faculty members are there to help their students succeed by any means, with tutoring and extra help sessions given to any student that needs it with personal attention no uncommon thanks to smaller class sizes.
