Folsom Lake College, also referred to as FLC, is a coeducational, public community college located in Folsom Lake, California, United States. It is one of four community colleges within the Los Rios Community College District, which was founded in July 1965. The College enrolls over 7,000 students every year and is known for courses it offers in Arts and Science.
Folsom Lake College has a child development program for children of student-parents who have enrolled at FLC to cotinue their education. The program also takes care of children from community families. Morning and afternoon preschool programs for community families are offered on a space available basis, with student-parents given first priority. Childcare, at subsidized rates, is also available to FLC student-families who meet need and income eligibility requirements as put forward by the State Department of Education.
