Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College was established in 1987, and is under the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities System. The college campus occupies 38 acres of land in Cloquet, Minnesota. Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College's recent enrollments have been more than 2,000 students every year.

Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College offers a wide variety of degree programs and certificate courses. Students can opt for courses in business, child development, environmental science, e-crime, human services, law enforcement, liberal arts, nursing, nutrition, fitness and health, and computer security, among others.

Intercollegiate athletic programs in football, softball, volleyball, and basketball are organized by the college. The teams are members of the Minnesota Community College Conference, and compete at the National Junior College Athletic Association Division III level.
