Frostburg State University is a four-year university located in Frostburg, Maryland. It was established in 1898 as the State Normal School of Maryland. The campus is spread across an area of over 250 acres. The university offers a wide variety of degrees and programs in diverse areas of study. It is organized into the following academic divisions:
FSU sponsors a student-run, weekly newspaper known as The Bottom Line. The university fields both men’s and women’s sports teams, which are known as the Bobcats.
