Gainesville State College, also referred to as GSC, is a coeducational, public college located in Gainesville, Georgia, United States. It was established in 1964 and is part of the University System of Georgia. The College grants admission to more than 6,000 students every year.

The sports teams of GSC are called the Lakers. The official mascot is Laker T. Goose. Students participate in basketball, power lifting, tennis, rugby, dodgeball, flag football, soccer, and volleyball.
