Galveston College, popularly known as GC, was established in 1967. It is a comprehensive community college situated in Galveston, Texas, United States. GC's recent enrollments have been more than 2,000 students every year.

A large number of associate’s degrees and certificate programs are offered to the students. One can opt for courses in the fields of communications, humanities, fine arts, social sciences, math, science, and behavioral science. Distance education programs are also available.

The athletics department of Galveston College fields teams in volleyball, softball, and baseball. They are known as the Whitecaps, and are members of the National Junior College Athletic Association Division I, and Region XIV Athletic Conference.
