Gaston College is a fully accredited community college located in Dallas, North Carolina. It was granted a charter in 1963 by the State of North Carolina. Classes began in September of 1964. The college enrolls more than 5,000 students each term. It also enrolls over 15,000 students in continuing education programs. Gaston College is a part of the North Carolina Community College System.

Gaston College offers a wide variety of degrees and programs in diverse areas of study. The college sponsors several clubs and organizations for the overall development of its students.
