Glenville State College, also known as GSC, is located in Glenville, West Virginia. It is a public college that established in 1872 and became a four-year college in 1931. Because of its quality of teaching, the campus came to be known as ‘the Lighthouse on the Hill’.
Glenville State College offers associate’s degrees and bachelor’s degrees in forest technology, accounting, sport management, chemistry, resort area management and criminal justice.
The male and female athletics teams of Glenville State College are called the Pioneers and the Lady Pioneers respectively. The teams compete in the West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
