Overview of Globe College
Founded in 1885 as a school with a focus on practical business education, Globe College was purchased in 1972 by the same family which would later purchase the Minnesota School of Business (MSB). In June 2007, Globe College changed its name to Globe University and set its campus in Woodbury, Minnesota. The two schools now operate under the name of Globe University/Minnesota School of Business (GU/MSB). The original Globe College campus in Woodbury is supplemented by the six MSB Minnesota campuses under the new consolidated arrangement.
Points of Distinction
Areas of Study
GU/MSB offers several programs of study, most of them leading to degrees. These include a Masters in Business Administration (MBA), nine Bachelor of Science degree programs, 18 Associate in Applied Science degree programs, and ten diploma programs. Programs cover many fields of study, with most of them in the business, medical and computer areas. A flexible scheduling of classes features both day and evening options for full-time and part-time students. Many of the school's courses are offered online.
Globe College Admissions
The GU/MSB admissions process begins when the applicant submits an online application or quick contact information to the school. From here an Admission Representative will get in touch and schedule a time to discuss the applicant's program of interest and the enrollment process. At this meeting, the Admissions Representative will provide the necessary paperwork to complete the process.
