Grand View College

Central Wyoming College is a public community college located in Riverton, Wyoming. It also operates off-campus sites in Lander, Thermoplis, Jackson, Dubois and at the Wind River Indian Reservation. The college offers two-year associate’s degrees in diverse areas of study and distance learning opportunities. The college operates an FM radio station, known as KCWC-FM.

Central Wyoming College’s athletics department sponsors several men’s and women’s sports teams. The college is a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association. The teams are nicknamed the Rustlers and compete in Region 9. CWC fields teams in volleyball, men's basketball and women's basketball. The campus also includes several student clubs, including the Great Art Group, the Criminal Justice Club, the Science, Math and Engineering Club and the Multicultural Club.

The school does not have an open admissions system. Not everyone who applies is accepted. Only 25% of students scored 410 or lower in 2007 on the verbal SAT test. Math SAT scores at Grand View centered around 420 to 530, but ranged both higher and lower. People attending the school come from a variety of states around the country.
