Grossmont College, a community college situated in El Cajon in California, was established in 1961. It has more than 15,000 students presently, and offers nearly 150 associate degree and certificates in various career and general education programs, including exercise science, math, science, humanities, fine arts and health science.

Grossmont College’s mascot is known by the name Griffin, and the official colors are gold and green. The sports teams of the university participate in soccer, water polo, volleyball, football and others. Eminent personalities like NFL quarterbacks Akili Smith and Brian Sipe; actress Rachel Bilson; and NFL defensive back Kevin McAdam are few famous alumni of the university.
