Halifax Community College, located in Weldon, North Carolina was established in 1967. The college, commonly known as HCC, has a campus of 109 acres. HCC offers students undergraduate courses in over 30 study programs. The college also offers facilities for continuing education and adult education.

HCC offers financial aid to deserving students in the form of scholarship programs. The college offers a number of need based and merit based institutional scholarships for students, known as HCC Scholarships. Students of HCC can also become members of the Phi Theta Kappa society to take advantage of a number of facilities.
