Hanover College is a private, co-educational, liberal arts college. It is located in Hanover, Indiana, United States. The college was established by Rev. John Finley Crowe in 1827. Hanover College is based on a 650-acre campus on the banks of the Ohio River. Academics at Hanover College include undergraduate majors in pre-professional programs and specialized study programs, which are offered through the Centers of Excellence. Hanover College is a member of the NCAA’s Division III and the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference. The varsity athletics teams of the college participate in sports like baseball, basketball, cross country, golf, soccer and football. The athletic teams are nicknamed the Panthers.
