Overview of Harris School of Business
Founded in 1965 in Camden, New Jersey by Ethel S. Harris as a training extension to her employment service, Harris School of Business operates today at four campus locations: Cherry Hill, Hamilton, and Linwood, New Jersey; and Wilmington, Delaware. The school dedicates itself to providing students with quality training leading to a successful career in the business and/or professional world. It offers programs in the business, legal, and allied health fields, with emphasis on administrative office support careers.

Harris School of Business Faculty Quality
The faculty at Harris is made up of qualified instructors who maintain the excellence of its instructional programs by updating the curriculums as needed. Instructors motivate their students to grow personally and professionally while fostering an appreciation for the attitudes and work ethic required for successful employment.
Harris School of Business Student Body
Student population varies by campus. Enrollment at the Cherry Hill campus in 2005 was 314 students. Females outnumber males at Harris by a ratio of roughly 10-to-1.
Harris School of Business Student Life
The four Harris locations are commuter campuses and many of the school's students attend part-time. Harris strives to foster a family atmosphere and caring environment, as evidenced by the fact that the school continues today to be owned and managed by two of the founder's children. Harris' Career Services Department assists graduates in securing employment by providing referrals and training on career search techniques. Students are instructed on topics such as goal setting, resume and cover letter writing, informational interviewing techniques and follow-up.
