Harrisburg Area Community College is a public community college, established in 1964. The university recieved accreditation in 1967, and serves about 18,000 undergraduate students. The main campus is located in Harrisburg, and covers more than 200 acres. The other locations include:

  • Gettysburg Campus
  • Lebanon Campus
  • York Campus

HACC awards Associate in Applied Science, Associate in Science and Associate in Arts degrees and diplomas.

HACC's mascot is the Hawks, and its sports teams participate in volleyball, basketball, team tennis, soccer and golf. The college has more than 25,000 distinguished alumni.
