Heidelberg University (formerly Heidelberg COllege) is located in Tiffin, Ohio, and was established in 1850 by the United Church of Chris). The campus occupies an area of 110 acres. The university offers more than 30 undergraduate courses, along with an Honors Program called The Life of the Mind. The U.S. News and World Report has ranked Heidelberg University among the Midwest's best colleges for over twenty years.

Heidelberg University competes in the NCAA Division III and is an Ohio Athletic Conference member. The athletic program of Heidelberg University sponsors basketball, baseball, football, soccer, cross country, golf and volleyball teams, which are nicknamed the Bergs.
