Applicants simply complete the request information form and an admissions advisor will send them further information. Basic admissions requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and a phone interview with an admissions advisor.
Faculty
Faculty members have been specifically trained in online teaching methods. Instructors work with students individually to make the online learning experience a stimulating and satisfying one.
Student Body
The majority of Herzing's online students are individuals with busy schedules who need the flexibility of structuring an education around their daily activities. Herzing's on-campus student makeup varies by campus. Its main campus in Madison, Wisconsin has a student body of about 1000 students.
Student Life
Although students have the convenience and flexibility that comes with online study, their student experience is far from a lonely one. Herzing's online courses contain discussion and group-learning projects on a structured schedule. Unlike many correspondence-type schools, Herzing University uses a facilitator format that ensures an interactive environment involving university faculty and other students. The online classes are structured with daily and weekly activities, projects and discussion groups. Scheduling of classes is automated and textbooks are sent right to the student's door.
