Founded in 1935, Hofstra is a private coeducational university sitting on a beautiful 240-acre campus in Hempstead, Long Island, only 25 miles east of New York City. Hofstra Online offers a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science degree which can be completed in as little as 18 months. Student Life

The online student experience substitutes a computer for the classroom. All course lectures will be available online and can be replayed as often as desired. All homework, class work, writing assignments and exams are completed and submitted online. A detailed course syllabus is provided to every student. One of the tremendous benefits offered by the online program is the unprecedented level of support available to all students. Students who run into difficulty can contact their course facilitator, program manager and/or other students in the program for help and support.
