Housatonic Community College, also known as HCC, is a two-year public college located in Bridgeport, Connecticut. It was established in 1967 and today it is one of the twelve colleges under the Connecticut Community Colleges system. The college confers a wide variety of associate's degrees and several certificate programs and also offers a wide variety of non-credit and continuing education programs.

Student life at HCC is active. The campus is home to a wide variety of clubs and organizations based on the varied interests of the students. Some of the clubs are A.L.A.S - Association of Latin American Students, the African Student Alliance (ASA), and Friends of the Environment (FOE).
