Howard College, also referred to as HC, is located in Big Spring, Texas, United States. It was founded in the year 1945, and the first academic session began in 1946. HC is considered to be among the 50 fastest growing community colleges in the United States. Howard College has branch campuses in Lamesa and San Angelo. Degree and certificate programs are offered to students in diverse areas of study including business administration, accounting, law enforcement, health information technology, and child care.

The athletics department of Howard College fields men's and women's teams in basketball, rodeo, softball, and baseball. The teams are nicknamed the Hawks. The college is also home to clubs and organizations such as the Student Government Association (SGA).
