Hudson County Community College, also nicknamed HCCC, is an accredited, coeducational, two-year, public, community college located in Hudson County, New Jersey, United States. A community college commission was established in the county by an act of the New Jersey Legislature in 1974. It was officially named as Hudson County Community College in 1981. The college offers a wide variety of degrees and programs in diverse areas of study.
The campus of HCCC is home to several student clubs and organizations including the Art Club, Psychology Club, Music Club (Emerging Club), and Student Government Association. The chapter of the international Phi Theta Kappa honor society is a source of pride for the College. It has earned national and statewide recognition for excellence.
