Established in 1966, ICC offers occupational certificate programs, Associate Degrees in Applied Science programs and Associate Degrees in Arts & Science programs. The university mascot is Cougar, and sports include volleyball, tennis, flag football and bowling. ICC has more than 30 official student organizations and clubs. The college teams participate in intercollegiate sports events. Major League Baseball player and future Hall of Famer Jim Thome graduated from this university.
