Illinois Central College is a large community college located in northern East Peoria. Established in 1966, ICC offers occupational certificate programs, Associate Degrees in Applied Science programs and Associate Degrees in Arts & Science programs. The university mascot is Cougar, and sports include volleyball, tennis, flag football and bowling. ICC has more than 30 official student organizations and clubs.
