Illinois College is a residential, private, liberal arts college located in Jacksonville, Illinois. The college was founded in 1829 by a group of students from Yale University. The college offers over 40 programs through 16 departments leading to bachelor’s of arts or bachelor’s of science degrees.

The athletics teams of Illinois College are members of the Midwest Conference. The school sponsors baseball, basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, softball, swimming, cheerleading, tennis and volleyball teams. Illinois College houses more than 75 clubs and organizations.
