Illinois Eastern Community Colleges - Frontier Community College, established in the 1960s, is a community college located in Fairfield. It is also a public institution. Frontier Community College is one of the four colleges of the Illinois Eastern Community Colleges organization, also known as IECC. IECC sponsors various men’s and women’s sports teams including basketball, baseball, and softball. They are nicknamed as warriors. They compete in International Students Program National junior College Association.
