The main campus of Imperial Valley is spread across an area of 160 acres. The extended campuses are located in El Centro, Brawley, and Calexico. The college offers a wide variety of programs and degrees in diverse fields of study.

The athletic department of the college boasts of more than 8 sports teams (men and women). They participate in various sports like soccer, volleyball, basketball, tennis and softball. The sports teams of Imperial Valley are known as the Arabs.
