Overview of Indiana Business College
Established over 100 years ago, Indiana Business College provides career-intensive training in most of the major metro areas in the state of Indiana. Additionally, the school provides online versions of several of its programs for those out of reach of a campus or preferring the added flexibility that web-based study affords.
Campus locations that cover ten cities across the state make the school accessible to large share of Indiana’s population: Anderson, Columbus, Elkhart (near South Bend), Evansville, Fort Wayne, Indianapolis, Lafayette, Marion, Muncie and Terre Haute. There are multiple campuses serving Indianapolis.

Indiana Business College has an extensive list of more than 30 programs to chose from in areas such as Business and Information Technology, Medical/Healthcare, Cooking, Fashion and Criminal Justice. All programs are designed with the objective of providing a concentrated, hands-on learning experience. Depending on the particular program, the school will confer a certificate, diploma, associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree to graduating candidates.
Indiana Business College Admissions and Financial Aid
Most applicants are required to set up an interview with school which includes a career planning session. Evidence of a high school diploma or its equivalent must be presented to the school. In addition, applicants will need to take one or more assessment test administered by Indiana Business College and a minimum score must be met for admission. However, the admissions system is non-competitive.
There are several options procuring the funds need to attend the school. Students with demonstrable need can seek Pell Grants, Stafford Loans, PLUS loans, Work/Study programs and other grants and scholarships. Applicants seeking Federal aid must fill out and submit the FASFA.

Instructors’ qualifications usually include strong professional work experience in the area that they teach. Small class size makes for a learning environment conducive to personal attention.
Indiana Business College Student Body
Based on a survey in 2005, the school’s largest campus has about 1000 students and there are around 3500 students across all locations combined. Women make up the majority of the student population.

The schools multiple campus system is designed with student commuters in mind. As such there are no dormitory or other on-campus housing options.
