Overview of Institute for Business and Technology
The Institute for Business and Technology (IBT) is a career-training institution located in metropolitan Santa Clara, California. Founded in 1965, the Institute offers high-quality programs focusing on business and technology in some of the nation's fastest growing fields. IBT is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT).

Institute for Business and Technology Admissions
Students wishing admission should contact IBT. Each prospective student will be assigned an admissions representative, who will conduct an interview as well as a school tour. The representative will work individually with the student to design an appropriate career training path and help the student find the program that best fits his/her personal interests.

IBT's faculty members combine an academic background in the subjects they teach with real-world experience in the workforce. Instructors are knowledgeable, caring and always have time for their students.

Total campus enrollment is a little over 900 students, with a roughly equal mix between men and women. IBT students are motivated individuals seeking professional training leading to rewarding careers in as little as 8 months.
Institute for Business and Technology Student Life
All IBT programs are taught in modern facilities where both instructional materials and hands-on instruction are used to present course concepts. IBT is a commuter school which does not offer student housing, but which does offer continuous and close access to staff and faculty for both academic and vocational advising. The school maintains a database of potential employers and will advise students and graduates of the availability of open positions. Employers are also invited to the campus for job interviewing sessions.
