The Institute for Therapeutic Massage (ITM) is committed to providing a complete academic experience with the goal of producing graduates who exceed the expectations of the massage, bodywork and wellness community as competent, qualified and ethical professionals. ITM was founded in 1994 by Lisa Helbig, LMT, in Pompton Lakes, New Jersey. Over the years, the school has expanded to eight locations throughout New Jersey, including hospital-based training programs. In addition to their core Massage and Bodyworkers Program, ITC offers advanced training programs and over 30 different continuing education classes.
