Overview of IntelliTec Medical Institute
Founded in 1966 as PPI Health Careers School, IntelliTec Medical Institute is a career-training higher education facility located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The school's original curriculum featured a Medical Laboratory Technician program but in later years was expanded to include a Medical Assistant program before becoming accredited in 1970. Since that time, more select programs have been added to IntelliTec's healthcare education offerings. Additional IntelliTec centers for medical learning are being established in Colorado.

IntelliTec's medical training programs equip students with the most advantageous combination of effective theory and practical experience to fully prepare them for successful medical careers within months as opposed to years. Training programs are available in the career fields of Dental Assistant and Expanded Duty Dental Assistant. Prior to enrollment, applicants are encouraged to meet with an Admissions Coach, who will give them an opportunity to tour the college facilities, gather information, and view the various programs available.
