Overview of International Academy of Design and Technology Online
Founded in 1977 as the International Academy of Merchandising & Design, the International Academy of Design and Technology (IADT) has for many years been offering career-focused degree programs in a broad range of fields. In 2007, the Academy launched IADT-Online, a virtual campus for students wishing to pursue a degree entirely online. The objective of IADT-Online is to prepare students for professional opportunities in the information, design and technology-based communications industries by offering Associate and Bachelor degrees in graphic design, web design and web development.

International Academy of Design and Technology Online Admissions
Students wishing to enroll in IADT-Online are required to complete a personal telephone interview with an IADT Admissions Representative. Parents and/or significant others are encouraged to participate in this conversation. Also, the applicant should complete an Enrollment Agreement and provide proof of graduation from a secondary school or equivalency along with application fee (non-refundable unless applicant is denied admission or cancels application within three days of the school's receipt).

The Academy's faculty is comprised of industry-experienced creative professionals in graphic design, web design and web development. Instructors infuse every virtual classroom with enthusiasm, understanding and real-world perspectives.

IADT-Online students are career-focused individuals who desire creative freedom and control over how they study and when they learn. They are motivated individuals who have the talent to think visually and communicate graphically.
