Ivy Tech Community College - Northwest was established in 1968 and is a part of the Ivy Tech Community College System. The main campus of the college is located in Gary, Indiana. It also has campuses in East Chicago, Michigan City, and Valparaiso in Indiana. Together the colleges are also referred to as Ivy Tech Northwest and enroll more than 8000 students annually on the four campuses.
