John Brown University, also known as JBU, was founded in 1919 by John E. Brown. This private Christian liberal arts institute is located in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. The sprawling main campus sits on 200 acres of land. JBU's recent enrollments have been more than 1,500 students every year. The sports teams of John Brown University are known as the Golden Eagles. They participate in the NAIA Division 1 athletics, in the categories of basketball, soccer, tennis, golf, and volleyball. The men’s basketball team was the winner of the NAIA Division I National Championship in 2005.
