John Carroll University

John Carroll University was established in 1886 by the Society of Jesus and is located in University Heights, Ohio. This university, also referred to as JCU, was originally known as Saint Ignatius College and is a member of the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities. There are two colleges and one school under this university, which are:

  • Boler School of Business
  • College of Arts and Sciences
  • Graduate School

John Carroll University sports teams are known as the Blue Streaks and the teams participate in the NCAA Division III Ohio Athletic Conference. The football team plays in Don Shula Stadium. The students of the university play a range of sports such as basketball, golf, soccer, swimming and diving, and tennis.
