Joliet Junior College is a comprehensive community school located in Joliet, Illinois. The college was founded in 1901, and currently has 2 centers and 3 campuses in the United States. JJC offers men's and women's sports in basketball, cheerleading, cross country and soccer. A few distinguished alumni of the college are Kelvin Hayden and Robert Ninkovich, professional football players; John Williams, WGN Radio host; George Sangmeister, retired Illinois Congressman; and Dr. John C. Houbolt, NASA scientist.
