Jones County Junior College is a junior college located in Ellisville, Mississippi. It was established in 1911 as an agricultural high school with only 5 faculty members and 85 students. The college currently offers a wide variety of degrees and programs in diverse areas of study. It awards Associate in Arts degrees, Associate in Applied Science degrees and Vocational Certificates to its students.
JCJC’s athletics department fields several men’s and women’s sports teams, which are nicknamed the Bobcats. The Bobcats participate in a wide variety of sports, including basketball, baseball, volleyball, tennis and golf. The campus of JCJC is also home to several student clubs and organizations.
