Overview of Keiser University
Keiser University is a regionally accredited career university which offers master, bachelor and associate degrees. The main campus is located in Fort Lauderdale with 12 additional campuses located throughout the State of Florida. The Keiser family founded the University in 1977 when they recognized a need in the community for quality career education with a hands-on orientation. Since that time, the University has grown to an institution worthy of regional accreditation encompassing 13 physical campuses throughout the state of Florida and employing over 2,000 faculty and staff.

Keiser University offers 40 high-demand associate, bachelor’s and master’s programs which prepare graduates for careers in business, criminal justice, health care, technology, hospitality and education. All degree programs are offered both campus-based and through web based distance learning.
Keiser University Admissions
The application process can be accomplished online. Applicants to Keiser must provide an official high school transcript or official GED scores. An entrance exam is required if the student does not have the results of a Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) or American College Testing exam (ACT). If either one is available, the required scores are either a combined score of 800 on the SAT or a composite score of 17 on the ACT.

The Keiser University student environment is a balanced one. University students may take part in professional organizations and social activities. Campus activities include student government (SGA), softball games, and student parties. Sports and social activities are also available.
