Kirtland Community College is a two-year, public community college located in Roscommon County, Michigan. It was founded in 1966. The college offers more than 50 degree and certificate programs and over 5 transfer degree programs in diverse areas of study, including computers, arts, business, criminal justice, fine arts and science.

Kirtland’s athletics department sponsors several men’s and women’s sports teams. The sports teams of Kirtland are members of the Eastern Conference of the Michigan College Athletic Association. They are nicknamed the Firebirds. They participate in men's and women's golf, men's and women's basketball and cross-country.
