Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwe Community College, or LCOOCC, was established in 1982. This non-profit tribal community college in Hayward, Wisconsin also operates outreach sites in the Ojibwe Reservations of Lac du Flambeau, St. Croix, Bad River, and Red Cliff.

Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwe Community College grants the Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, and Associate of Applied Science degrees. Students can also opt for certificate courses in carpentry, hospitality and customer service, GIS technology, web page development, and medical transcription, among others.

LCOOCC is home to several student organizations like the American Indian Science and Engineering Society, Student Senate, Men's Talking Circle, and Makwa Drama Club.
