Lake Area Technical Institute is a technical college located in Watertown, South Dakota. LATI was founded in 1965 and located on a 35-acre campus. It provides a variety of programs leading to technical and associate's degrees. Courses are offered in the following academic divisions:

  • Agricultural Division
  • Business Division
  • Health Division
  • Trade and Technical Division

LATI provides financial aid to its students through the BIA Fund. It also participates in programs like work-study, National Guard Benefits, Vocational Rehabilitation, Veteran's Benefits and the Workforce Investment Act. Eligible students can also apply for Merit, Foundation, and Achievement Scholarships.
