Overview of Lamson College

Lamson College is the oldest private college in Arizona. Its history dates back to 1889 when Colonel Edwin M. Lamson, a commissioned officer of the Arizona Guard, founded Lamson Business College with an initial class of 12 students who met at a residence in downtown Phoenix. Since that time, the institution has earned a storied reputation in the community, having graduated two Arizona governors and several other prominent community members. Today the College offers a career-oriented education in the business, legal, or medical fields with programs that are convenient and can be completed quickly.
