Lancaster General College of Nursing and Health Sciences, LGC, is located in the heart of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. This nursing school was established in 1903 as the Lancaster General Hospital School of Nursing. The campus is around three hours away from the cities of New York, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C. and Baltimore.

LGC is a co-educational four year institute that offers programs leading to associate's, baccalaureate and certificate degrees in healthcare. Some of the academic programs include cardiovascular invasive specialty, respiratory care, nuclear medicine technology, emergency medical technician, diagnostic medical sonography and healthcare administration.

LGC has athletic teams for distance running and soccer. The college is also a member of the Campus Central, an organization involving many students in the county. The Student Nurses Association of Pennsylvania (SNAP) is one of the student organizations active on campus.
