Overview of Las Vegas College
Founded in 1979 as Krolak Business Institute, Las Vegas College is a Nevada institution offering associate degree and diploma programs in the business, administrative, medical, computer and legal fields. The campus is located in Henderson, which is about 20 minutes southeast of Las Vegas. Since its founding, the institution underwent two name changes. In 1986, Krolak changed its name to Las Vegas Business College and ten years later, settled on its present name. The school today is owned by Corinthian Colleges, Inc., which operates dozens of colleges throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Las Vegas College Admissions
The enrollment process is convenient, quick and easy. An application form is readily available on the school's website, and can be submitted with the press of a button. A personal interview and tour of the campus is part of the process, and for most applicants, so is a career placement assessment exam.
Las Vegas College Faculty Quality
The school employs a highly skilled and dedicated faculty of experienced professionals. Classes are led by instructors with real-world experience who give students the inside knowledge needed to be successful in the current job market.
Las Vegas College Student Body
Enrollment is in excess of 500 students, about 60% of whom are full-time. Females comprise about 80% of the student body.
Las Vegas College Student Life
The College provides a variety of student services. Internet access is available in the school library. A Learning Resource Center (LRC) is an on-site facility which supports the various curricula and provides learning resources for students and faculty. Resources include books, tapes, periodicals, and audio/visual materials. The Student Association serves both students and the local community by sponsoring extracurricular activities throughout the academic year. These include charitable events, bake sales, and other fundraising activities. Tutoring is available to students who need it with no out-of-pocket charges.
