Lasell College is a private college situated in Newton, Massachusetts, United States. The College was established by Edward Lasell as the Auburndale Female Seminary in 1851. Lasell College campus is set on a 50-acre campus. Master’s and bachelor’s degrees are offered at the College and this includes over 25 undergraduate majors. Some of the areas of study include fashion, communications, management, athletic training, humanities, sciences, and criminal justice.
Athletics are an integral part of Lasell College student life. Lasell College athletic teams are nicknamed as the Lasers. The College is a member of the NCAA Division III, the Pilgrim League, the Great Northeast Athletic Conference, and the Northeast Collegiate Volleyball Association. The College is an associate member of the North Atlantic Conference. Students can participate in sports including baseball, basketball, lacrosse, volleyball, hockey, soccer and softball.
