Lassen Community College, also known as LCC, was established in 1925, and is located in Susanville, California. The campus of the college consists of more than 35 buildings, spread across an area of 165 acres. LCC offers a number of associate's degrees in a number of subjects including arts, justice, business, and child development among others. In addition, various certification courses are also available. Distance education courses are also offered through online courses, interactive T.V and correspondence courses.

LCC’s athletics department fields a number of men's and women's sports teams. They are members of Golden Valley and Bay Valley Conference. They are nicknamed as the Cougars. The sports teams participate in sports including basketball, soccer, baseball, softball, and volleyball.
