Lewis and Clark community college is a two-year community college located in Godfrey, Illinois. The college enrolls more than 13,000 credit students annually. Established in 1970, L&C held its first classes on the grounds of Monticello College, a small, private liberal arts college for women founded in 1838.

Lewis and Clark College offers a full range of degree and certificate programs to help students achieve their academic and career goals. It allows its students to transfer to a four-year institution. They may choose to earn a degree in one of the various occupational or career programs, such as nursing and occupational therapy.

The L&C sports teams are nicknamed the Trailblazers. They participate in both the Midwest Community College Athletic Conference and the Mid West Athletic Conference (MWAC).
