Lincoln Land Community College, LLCC, is situated in Springfield, Illinois and was founded in 1968. The founders utilized the Pubic Community College Act of 1965 to establish this college. It offers certificates for achievement and completion of courses. Degrees offered include general purpose, vocational, or transferable. Associate's degrees are conveyed in arts, fine arts, sciences, and engineering sciences.

Lincoln Land Community College is a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association. The college fields teams in baseball, basketball, soccer, softball, and volleyball. The college arranges Sports Camps for its athletes. Lincoln Land Community College has a financial aid office to assist students applying for aid. A number of institutional scholarships are also provided to students. The Ted & Dorothy Smith/Dennis Peterson Memorial and the Allied Health Emergency Loan are emergency loans that students can apply for.
